Mopso will participate together with CRIF Spa and Pomiager srl in the project titled “Management of Standard European Credentials for the EU Digital Identity Wallet” as part of the Technological Innovation initiatives under Call 4 managed by BI-REX.

The project will be carried out from December 2023 to May 2025 and involves a diverse group of private entities:

  • MOPSO Srl, a startup focused on advanced AML and KYC products through the use of technological platforms and innovative algorithms, streamlining the controls with efficient neuro-symbolic AI.

  • CRIF SpA, a global company specializing in credit and business information systems, analytics, outsourcing and processing services, as well as advanced digital solutions for business development and open banking. Founded in Bologna in 1988, it operates across four continents.

  • Pomiager Srl, a Bologna-based IT company that has been developing innovative technological solutions for over 15 years, with a particular focus on Blockchain and Web3 solutions related to federated identity.

Alongside these private entities, the project also includes participation from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the National Institute for Nuclear Physics.

The objective of the project is to develop a software infrastructure for digital identity management based on the Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) model, ensuring broad compatibility with existing systems—especially with established technology frameworks such as DIZME—and aligning with the new European eIDAS regulation.

The project is part of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and is partially funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
